Bukola Abogunloko of Ekiti, who was 2nd at last month’s 3rd leg of the AFN Golden League in Ibadan, was a distant third this time around in 53.03 seconds.
Etim, fast becoming the new kid on the block, also won the women’s 200m in 23.49 secs ahead of Agnes Osazuwa of the Nigerian Civil Defence Service Corps (NCDSC) second in 23.59 secs with Shola Ogundemi of Christable Athletics third in 23.99 secs.
However Osazuwa of NCDSC came back to win the women’s 100m in 11.50 secs with Shola Ogundemi of Christable second in 11.57 secs and Chinazom Amadi of Prison Services third in 11.90 secs.
Noah Akwu of NCDSC won the men’s 400m in 46.43 secs and Benjamin Adukwu of Ondo State took the men’s 100m title in 10.49 secs in the absence of current Africa’s fastest and Jackpot hopeful Ogho-Oghene Egwero.
