Okagbare storms to 200m PB of 22.63 at Pre-Classics Diamond League meeting

Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare put up an impressive showing at the 2012 Prefontaine Classic - Samsung Diamond League meeting in Eugene, Oregon, US on Saturday placing third in the women’s 200m race.

Running in Lane 8, Okagbare,  overcame a sluggish start to power home in a new personal best time of 22.63 secs and was only beaten by Americans Allyson Felix (22.23) and Jeneba Tarmoh (22.61).
