Find below the provisional list of 19 athletes released by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) to represent the country at the forthcoming World Athletics championship in Moscow.
The 67th All Nigeria track and field championships will hold from tomorrow through to Friday the 21st of June at the Cross-Rivers state capital.
This is to inform you that Long Jump Women will been removed from premium events and placed under classic events while 400m Hurdles Women has been upgraded to Premium event at the forthcoming Warri Relays and CAA Grand Prix scheduled for 14th June 2013.
Information about the Solid Works/AFN Golden League meet scheduled for Saturday May 18, 2013 at the Adokiye Amaesimaka Stadium, Port-Harcourt, River State, Nigeria.
List of athletes and officials invited to the national camp at the University of Port-Harcourt in preparation for African Juniors and IAAF World Youth Championships in athletics. The camp commenced on Friday May 3, 2013.
The indisciplined behaviour put up by the performing athletes during the 2nd Leg of the Golden League in Benin city, Edo State on Saturday 27th April 2013 led to the suspension of the League and the subsequent ban slammed on the ring leaders of that unruly action.
