Nzubechi Grace Nwokocha won the women’s 100m U20 title in a time of 11.79 secs while Oluwateniolafunmi Fadahunsi took the U18 Girls’ 100m title in a time of 12.30 secs.
In the U20 men’s category, Enoch Adegoke emerged champion in the 100m in a time of 10.39 secs while Godson Brume grabbed the U18 Boy’s title in a time of 10.39 secs.
18-year-old Favour Ekpekpe produced a personal best of 21.44 secs to take the U20 Men’s 200m title while Iruoghene Okoro (21.88) and Sewekan Thevoethin (21.83) emerged victorious in the U18 men’s A & B Finals.
The reigning National Sport Festival 400m champion, Imaobong Nse Uko, continued her dominance of the women’s quarter-mile by taking the U18 title in a time of 54.46 secs.
Ada Bright won the 400m ‘B’ race in 59.34 secs while Obashola Olaoluwa and Fatola Adedoyin took the Boy’s 400m U18 A & B Finals, clocking 47.37 secs and 48.14 secs respectively.
